Standard Courses

These courses consist of 4 hours study a day from Monday to Friday.  You can enroll for 2 weeks (40 hours), 3 weeks ( 60 hours), or 4 weeks (80 hours).  A one hour lesson corresponds to 55 minutes.   On the first day of the course, all participants will take an entrance test to determine their level of Italian and will then be divided accordingly into groups based on ability shown in the test.  These groups have a maximum of 12 students, and an average of 7-9 students.
Complete beginners can only begin the course on it’s official starting day, whereas more advanced students can join the course even after it’s official commencement, providing they start on a Monday.  The entrance test and course books are included in the enrolment fees.

For activities outside the school course hours, eg excursions, guided tours of the city, evenings out together etc, you will be advised of the programme on a weekly basis.  Some of these are included in the enrolment fees but some require an extra payment.

For the standard course to operate and also for outside school activities that require an extra payment, it is requested a minimum of 4 participants.
