Founded in the autumn of 1997, the language school S.K.S.TOSKANA is based in Figline Valdarno, a small town in the Arno valley, 20km from Florence. The school deals with the organisation of language, culture and sports weeks in Tuscany. Although these language-intensive courses are run for groups, applications are also welcomed from individuals. Our highly- motivated, experienced teachers will provide you with a diverse and enjoyable course programme which combines communicative activities with the more traditional methods of language teaching. Our courses have a 'hands on' approach, working on projects and so are particularly suitable for school groups. The warm welcome you will receive from our host families and the excursions into the neighbouring towns and countryside, included in the course, will leave you with unforgettable memories of your stay in Tuscany. To make life easier for group leaders, the school offers many extra services, such as the booking of accommodation, tranfers, and advance bookings for entrance into museums. The language school also offers courses for people who don't necessarily want to study the Italian language, but still want to make the most of their stay in Tuscany. Courses include practical painting and cookery courses, as well as courses for culture, walking and sports enthusiasts.
